# Calling Leads Through Filters

How do we initiate calls based on a specific desired filter?

### To initiate calls based on specific desired 'filters', follow these steps:

***

1. **Log in** to your NeoDove web application.
2. Go to the dashboard and choose the "**Filter**" option, or access the **dropdown** menu from the top of the screen next to the '**Search by contact number**' option.

3. **Multiple filters** are available to refine the data, and you can apply more than one filter to retrieve specific, **targeted information**.

{% hint style="success" %}
When searching and filtering data, if you wish to incorporate **closed leads**, including converted and lost leads, in your results, you should activate the **checkbox** located at the bottom of the Search and Filter option, labeled '**Include converted and lost leads in your search?**'
{% endhint %}

4. After choosing the specific filter, click on the **search** button to retrieve the exact filtered leads. To initiate the call flow for the filtered leads, click on the "**Start Calling**" button at the top of the screen.

<figure><img src="https://2103666731-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MJasmeOMeAJhTVh0M75%2Fuploads%2FYNs9nHLfpsr3YOfIUr5v%2FFilter%20User%20Portal.png?alt=media&amp;token=7181e1e7-9eec-4ec7-8e99-055335147be3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

5. Once you click the button, **leads** will start appearing.

6. If the **automatic call dialing** option is enabled, the system will automatically initiate the call after a set interval. If not, you can manually start the call by clicking on the number. Subsequently, you'll receive a **notification** on your phone, allowing you to make the calls from the **dialer** as needed.
7. Select your preferred **SIM card** for making the call, especially if you have a **dual-SIM** phone.
8. The app will automatically **place** the call, so there's no need to **dial** the number manually.
9. Once you've successfully finished your call, [**proceed** ](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]to the Lead Details Form or Customer Details Form

{% hint style="success" %}
**Note:** By default, to make calls, click on the **lead's contact number**. If you prefer automatic call dialing, access the **settings** in the Admin portal to enable this feature. Once enabled, calls will automatically initiate based on the **set time interval** when the lead appears on the screen.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.neodove.com/neodove-web-application/calling-leads/filter-wise.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
